Recently, my friend Jackie started a new business venture with
Perfectly Posh.
Posh is a pampering line made from some of the best ingredients on earth. From shea and cocoa butters, to indulgent and nourishing oils. They are:

• SLS-free
• Gluten-free
• Soy-free
• Using essential oil and fine pthalate-free fragrances
• Natural: Full of butters, oils, and other nourishing ingredients
• Preserved with gentle, effective vitamin E
Perfectly Posh uses tocopherol (vitamin E) as it's primary preservative, and they fragrance with high-quality perfumes and essential oils.
She gave me a tube of The Healer, since I was having some trouble with very dry skin.
I wish that I had taken some pictures, but I didn't (I'm sorry!). I'll try to paint a picture for you! My heels were really dry. They cracked and were so painful that I hated to even try to do a "pedicure" at home. Think this:
 |
I learned that the deep cracks are called "fissures" - that is disgusting! I had 3 or 4 on each heel.
|
I decided to try The Healer on my heels. When I told Jackie this, she was disturbed surprised. She uses it as a facial moisturizer!
I love the consistency of The Healer. It is firm in the stick, but almost instantly melts with your body temperature. It absorbs quickly and doesn't make your skin feel greasy at all. And it smells amazing. Perhaps too good. I have had to hunt it down almost every night! My kids love it too!
It has worked wonders on my heels. You can still see the lines where the "fissures" once were, but they are closed! My heels no longer hurt and I've been much better about using a pumice stone and doing my at-home pedicures (much to my husband's delight - he can't stand "nasty feet"!)
Speaking of my husband - I got the Chuck bar in "Gender Bender" for him for Father's Day. And, I confess, I've been using it too! It does a great job of detoxifying the skin without drying it out. It also is very long-lasting (which makes it a great value!)
