DFW Jamberry Nails Review & Giveaway!

~~~CLOSED~~~
Congratulations Charissa Jackson!
I got my Jamberry Nails samples on a Wednesday at noon.  I waited patiently to try them.  Until my daughter got home from school!  LOL
Jamberry has vinyl nail shields that are applied with the use of heat (from a hair dryer) and pressure (from your fingers or an orange stick).  They form a tight bond to the nail that lasts and lasts.
I did her nails first, then my own.
Even with my 3 year old "helping" (i.e. running off with the buffer, sticking the scraps on his lips and poking us with the orange stick) it only took about one hour and 20 minutes to do both of us.
I had to piece together 4 of mine since the sample sheets are designed to do pinky fingers only :)  That took an extra 10 minutes or so.  Other consultants tell me to allow 40 minutes to an hour for the entire application process.
I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the shields.  They are high-gloss and beautiful!  Each sheet is enough to do 2-3 manicures/pedicures.  For $15.00 - that's a great bargain!  When I get a manicure (when the stars are perfectly aligned, I have the money and free time all at once) it costs $18.00 and lasts about 3 days.  Getting 2 for $15 already doubles my money!  Plus, I'm too cheap frugal to pay for designs - so they are always "plain".
There are over 150 designs to choose from, including these new ones for Easter & Spring:
I can't wait to get the Christian Fish design!
In addition - they will last for 2 weeks on fingers and 4-6 weeks on toes!  My first set lasted the 2 weeks.  One was a little worse for wear, but I was still getting constant compliments!  My daughter's also lasted 2 weeks - which I did not expect at all!  Here is my second set (love the blue paisley!) still looking great after 8 days:
My nails are weak and prone to split, peel and break too. The shields have also helped me grow out my nails.  Even when I broke one last time, the shield kept it attached (and hidden from my picking!) long enough to grow out past the "quick".  I love the look of medium-length nails.  (Not crazy like this:
 eewww - sorry!)
And - pretty nails are really "in" right now.  All you have to do is spend a little time on Pinterest and you're sure to see pins of nail designs!  That means that there are other options out there.  Here is a comparison between Sally Henson (left) and Jamberry (right):
And, best of all - my husband LOVES them!  He really appreciates a polished look - including nice nails!  You know that guy that says "I liked it so much I bought the company"?  Well, I didn't buy the company - but I did sign up!  You can win a free sheet of Jamberry Nails by entering below.  If you'd like more information on the product or the amazing ground-floor opportunity, please contact me!  If you'd like a sample, please click here.
