How to Create a Sample Request Form

As you may already know, I offer a free sample of Jamberry Nails to those who are interested in trying before they buy.  (UPDATED: The sample offer is now closed.  Thank you for your interest!)

This has worked very well for me - I was sending 15-30 samples out per week.  I follow up by e-mail within a few days to send the instructions, then a week later with a reminder, then again to see if there were any questions.

This is what the Jamberry Nail Shield samples look like.
They have 4 different sizes, some people may only receive 1 or 2 from a sample card.
When you purchase a full sheet, you get 10 different sizes!
Each sheet will do 2-3 manicures or pedicures.

My Sunday Weakness

I love Sundays!  I got to participate in worship this morning at The Crossing Church, followed by a great message on parenting by Dr. Garland Ownesby

His message came from Joshua chapter 1 - where God tells Joshua repeatedly "Be strong and courageous".  This scripture has come up over and over again in the last few months.

I am tired.  I am tired of being strong.  I am tired of being brave.  I am tired of being... I am just tired of BEING.

I've been in direct sales my whole life.  Well, almost!  My mom used to sell Home Interiors and I would go to some of her shows with her, help stamp the order forms, fill orders and such.  When I was a teen, she sold Adorn Jewelry, then a nail product called Lume.

I've never been able to get in and out of someone's home or an event in one trip!

No matter how carefully I packed, there were always multiple trips; bags digging into my shoulders; boxes precariously perched upon boxes...  I was usually the first to arrive and among the last to leave large events, trudging out exhausted and muttering to myself "I will never do this again!"

My car or van would stay loaded for days because I didn't want to unload it (or even look at it sometimes!)

I took the photo above last night at a team member's launch party.  I can make this happen:

North Dallas: Free Parenting Seminar

In conjunction with its Family Matters series this Saturday and Sunday- April 14 and 15, 

The Crossing Church is having a family seminar. 

Special Guest Speaker- Dr. Garland Owensby will hold workshops on how to deal with the problems teenagers and kids are facing today. The event is open to the community. He will be dealing with issues that all families are facing in the twenty-first century. 

There will be two different opportunities to attend the workshop on Saturday-from 10-12 or 2-4. Many people have games on Saturdays so they wanted to make this accessible for everyone. 

Please, help spread the word about this weekend, and RSVP as to which session you will be attending so that they can have proper childcare workers in place. (Childcare is provided!)

Diabetic Alert Dogs

I had no idea that there were dogs trained to smell glucose levels. Last year, my friend’s 14 year old daughter, Sarah, forgot to take her blood sugar reading before bed. She never woke up. A dog like this could have saved her life. If I had known about it, I would have done all I could to provide one for her!

Now, I’ve decided to share the word and help other families raise money. As a bereaved parent (I lost my 3 month old son to SIDS in 2006) I know first-hand the heartache of losing a child. If its in my reach to do something to help – I will!
